This work emerged from a series of conversations over the course of 14 years, between the master director Federico Fellini and the author, Charlotte Chandler. Like his films, Fellini's memoir is full of his love of life and the movies; the joy of directing and the dreams, memories, fantasies and nightmares behind his art. There is commentary on such actors as Marcello Mastroianni and Sophia Loren and directors such as Roberto Rossellini and Ingmar Bergman. The work explains why the term "Felliniesque" was created. Charlotte Chandler is the author of "Hello, I Must Be Going" and "The Ultimate Selection".
