As editor of the literary magazine "The Fortnightly Review", Frank Harris published some of Wilde's greatest work and knew Wilde personally—understanding him both emotionally and professionally. But Harris was also Wilde's friend and confidant, the man to whom Wilde dedicated his play "The Ideal Husband", so that this biography is written from a personal perspective.
