A detailed account of how the Bolsheviks used the elections to the tsarist Duma (the phony assembly) from candidacy to the activities of the deputies to win the workers over to the Bolsheviks. The Duma was one of the few legal places that the Bolsheviks could use to put forward their program, until all their deputies were arrested at the beginning of World War I. Badayev was one of the deputies, so this is a first-hand account.
