The Marx-Engels Chronicle is a detailed day-by-day chronology of the lives and activities of Marx and Engels. It covers both men-not only Marx-from Marx's birth in 1818 to Engels' death in 1895. It therefore becomes, among other things, a basic reference work on the social history of an era.
